Young Explorers Summer Program: “The Hawks”

This program was developed to provide young children the same Turtleback Nature Camp experience but structured specifically for the early primary grade levels. Campers will enjoy hands-on activities while exploring nature. Activities include science lessons, arts & crafts, educational hikes, and running games related to the theme. Please pack a snack, lunch, and labeled water bottle. We recommend a lightweight backpack as we often eat snack or lunch away from the base camp. A backpack also allows children to keep their hands free while hiking and exploring throughout the day.

This program runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We end at this time to avoid the hottest time of the day. We send out a welcome letter prior to the week registered for details regarding drop off and pick up, what to expect, how to be prepared for the camp week, and any updates. The camper to counselor ratio is 6:1. We have a lifeguard on staff for wading in the bay or swimming in the pool. The fee is $400 for one week of camp per child. After Care is available until 3:00 PM. The fee is $20 for the hour per day, please contact Jennifer if you need after care each day your child is registered. A 50% deposit is required to formally register. All balances are due by June 1st.

Registration opened January 19th!

Please Note: By completing the registration form below, your child is automatically placed on the roster in the order the submitted forms are received.
