On Saturday March 28th, 10:00 AM, the Peconic Estuary Partnership will be running an Alewife Monitoring Workshop at the Mattituck Laurel Library. We are seeking volunteers to help monitor Hortons Creek in Laurel to document spawning Alewives. After a brief presentation at the library, we will head over to Peconic Bay Park and Husing Pond Preserve for the fieldwork component of the workshop. Registration Required.
