The new hoodies display the five Bald Eagle plumages (ages) from juvenile to adult. Did you know it takes a Bald Eagles five years to reach its adult plumage? A great educational tool to have on hand when migrating Bald Eagles visit the North Fork this winter! For those who are interested in learning more, there will be a Bald Eagle Outing in December. Have you spotted a bald eagle in the past year? You can submit your sighting at our community science page and learn more about how to observe Bald Eagles, identify their ages and learn about birds that are often misidentified as an eagle.
