We suggest heading to a spot at sunset (5:30 PM) to enjoy the moonrise from the warmth of your car! Find a spot along Peconic Bay with a shoreline facing an easterly direction. The moon rise will occur at 5:45 in Orient and 5:50 in Jamesport.
