Join State Park Naturalist Jennifer Murray for this family-friendly evening hike through Hallock State Park Preserve. Please be aware the park normally closes at 4:00 PM. Sunset occurs at our 5 o’clock start time and we will view the moonrise over the farm fields. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience this preserve during dusk, a magical time when nocturnal animals begin to wake. Feel free to arrive at 4:45 pm to use the restroom prior to departure.

Meet in the Upper (northern) Parking Lot of Hallock State Park Preserve. The hike will be about 1.5 miles. Please dress for the weather and be prepared for windy conditions. Inclement weather cancels, and we will still hike if it is cloudy. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This event is free and registration is not required.
