Join “Bird Nerd” Jennifer Murray to observe the quirky American Woodcock Courtship Display during dusk at a local nature preserve. We will first discuss the Timberdoodle’s fascinating mating ritual then head out on trail in search of this normally elusive bird. Inclement weather (high winds or rain) cancels. The location (between Northville and Southold) will be determined a week or two prior to the walk based on Timberdoodle activity. Registrants will be notified of the location.
